In 1967 BMW purchased the small Glas Automobile Company which
was well known for making the micro car, the GoGo Mobile, and
the Glas 1700 GT. BMW retained the body style but installed
their 1600Ti engine and rear suspension. A limited number of
these cars were made in 1967 and 1968.
