Porsche 547 Series 4 Cam Carrera Engine

This Porsche 4 Cam engine is an original Carrera 547 series. It was built by Neil Harvey of Performance Developments in Costa Mesa and run in vintage racing events in a Porsche RS61. The engine has approximately 8-10 races on it and runs strong. Dyno testing produced 152hp at 6600 and 123 ft/lbs of torque at 6000 rpm. The engine is being offered as a long block but also including intake manifolds, a damaged fan/generator assembly and bare Weber 48IDA carburetors bodies. This engine can be complete by installing the fan shroud  and carburetors from your engine or by acquiring a new fan shroud and rebuilding the Weber carb bodies. This engine would be a nice addition under the lid of a Carrera street car or for the racing enthusiast who wants to preserve their original numbered Porsche 4 Cam engine in their Spyder RSK or RS60.
