The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate shows it was built on 15 September 1965 and dispatched on 16 September 1965 to the USA. A USA export model for dealer Chequered Flag International. Owned by a San Diego collector for many years who comprehensively restored the car by 2019. Then selling to a Mini Cooper lover in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Having undergone a complete bare shell professional restoration ending in 2019 by a San Diego owner. This included all paint, body, chrome, mechanical work, wiring, interior upholstery, and fine details. Still retaining its original engine and colors.
